Abiola Ogundeko is the Managing Partner, (Public Sector), Nigeria at iSecure Consulting Limited, a cyber-intelligence and reconnaissance solution provider, with footprints in Europe and Africa. Abiola holds a bachelors degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, now Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Abiola Ogundeko is a trained and certified cyber security and computer forensics professional.

He has several professional qualifications in Information Technology including: Professional Certifications in Cyber Security, Digital and Computer Forensics, Microsoft Certified Professional (SQL Server), Oracle DBA Certified Associate, Oracle DBA Certified Professional, Diploma in Web Programming, Certificate in Project Management Professional and a German Certified Dual Vocational Trainer.

Adebayo Akinade

BARRISTER ADEBAYO AKINADE, a Legal and Security Expert holds an LLB, BL, LLM and MPA degrees with specialization in Public and Private Security and Law Enforcement. He is a Notary Public and former Head, Legal Services Unit, University of Lagos. He attended the Nigeria Institute of Advanced Legal Studies for several professional courses and training in legal practice and crime management. He participated in various local and international seminars relating to law and security. Akinade has been co-editor of the institute's numerous conferences books of proceedings and readings for the past eighteen years. In addition, he has been author of several practicing books on security, safety and protection sciences. He has received several awards in recognition of his services in the security and safety industry. Currently, Akinade is the Director General of the Institute of Security of Nigeria where he is responsible for the strategic management and operation of policies and activities of the institute.

Alex Ogbole

A Deputy Detective Superintendent, with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
His years of investigation have being in the areas of Cyber Crime Investigation which have been garnished with experiences both from local and International law enforcement organizations. He is also a Certified Digital Forensic Examiner and member of Computer Forensic Institute of Nigeria. He currently heads the Cyber Crime Lab of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Commission.

Dennis Amachree

Dennis Amachree, holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, a Master’s degree from the California State University and the ASIS Certificate for Security Executives from the Wharton Business School in the USA. Mr. Amachree retired from the Nigerian State Security Services as an Assistant Director in 1999 and went into Industrial Security, where he worked for Halliburton Energy Services, as Security Manager, the Country Security Manager for Addax Petroleum Development. In 2012 he was hired by the General Electric Company (GE) as Senior Regional Security Director for Sub-Sahara Africa. He is at present a Security Consultant and Owner of Zoomlens Security Solutions, Lagos.

Mr. Amachree was Chairman of ASIS International, Nigeria Chapter 206 and later Regional Vice President (Region 44 – West & Central Africa). Dennis current President of the Security Strategic Group (SSG). He has received many awards in the security industry including the Nigerian national honours award of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).

Edwin Ossai

Edwin Ossai is currently Head of Security for Dana Air. Previously, Edwin was Head of Security for Aero Contractors Airline and has also worked in the Nigeria police force. Edwin has a huge number of professional commendations including certificates in explosive ordinance disposal; aviation security courses; homeland security, terrorism risk in Nigeria and chemical/biological terrorism certificate among others.

Captain George Alily

President of the Association

George Alily served in the Nigerian Navy retiring as a Captain. A graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, with specialisation in Navigation and Direction. He holds a Master’s degree in International Service (MIS), majoring in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from the American University in Washington, DC. While in the Navy, he was the Commanding Officer of NNS KYANWA, a warship and NNS BEECROFT, as well as Nigeria’s Naval Attaché to Washington DC and Canada. 
A member of the Royal Institute of Navigation, London, life member of the US Naval Institute, Annapolis and fellow of the National War College, Nigeria. He is the author of “Naval Diplomacy: A Critical Component of National Power” and “Defining Persona: 6 Virtues that Transform Societies”. He is the CEO of Southgate Maritime Limited, and President, Maritime Security Providers Association of Nigeria.

Ismaila Idris

Dr. Ismaila Idris received a B.Tech. (Hons) in Mathematics\Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Minna and M.Sc in Information Security from University of Ilorin in 2002 and 2009 respectively. He received a PhD degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2014. Currently, he is with the Department of Cyber Security Science, School of Information and Communication Technology, Federal University of Technology, Minna. He has two patent works with Innovation and Commercialization Centre (ICC), Malaysia. He is a member of editorial board Journal of Computer Engineering and Information Technology and International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Applications (IJAIA). His research interests include Malware Detection, Information Security, Data Mining, Software Engineering, Soft Computing, Computational intelligence and Information Retrieval. He is a member board of trustee CSEAN and also the National Vice President of the Association, member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG).

John Anyanwu

John Anyanwu is an Associate Director in the Technology Advisory Services Group in KPMG Nigeria. He leads the Cyber Security and Resilience team in KPMG Nigeria and has responsibility for developing cyber security competences and capabilities in the Nigeria practice. He is a consummate professional with over 14 years cognate experience across multiple verticals in cyber security and resilience including cyber security assessment and strategy, security infrastructure hardening, business continuity management, etc. He has served in various leadership capacities to deliver cyber security and resilience engagements across diverse sectors in Nigeria, Netherlands, South Africa, Ghana, Gabon, Guinea and Mali. 
 John currently leads a team of professionals who work with KPMG clients across varying industries – financial services, telecommunications, energy, fast moving consumer goods, etc. - to develop and implement cyber security strategies and architectures, cyber security assessments; cyber security strengthening; cyber security technologies implementation; and assistance with achieving compliance with leading security standards.

Kelechi Agubuga

K.K. is a CSCSS Senior Vice President and leads the CSCSS Africa National Cyber Initiatives which focuses on cyber intelligence-driven and threat-focused national level security services in Africa. He studied at the University of Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Computer Science. He has been in the fast moving IT industry specifically focusing on Payments and Financial solutions.

He is currently the MD of Technologies Platform Business Resources Limited. Prior to joining the Technologies Platform management team, he had worked in Synetics Technologies as the head of the Enterprise Solutions division and as a Banking Software Consultant in Computer Systems Associates (Nigeria) Ltd. where he participated in several banking software implementation and business development projects. At Technologies Platform, he oversees the day to day running of the company and brings over 20 years cognate experience in Sales, Implementation and Consultancy in Software and Banking Automation products.

Kelechi will be speaking on "Using Threat Intelligence to fight the Cyber Threat – A collaborative approach" at 15:00 on Wednesday 22nd March

 

Layiwola Laseinde

Ambassador

Ambassador C.L Laseinde graduated from the University of Lagos with a B.Sc Honours in Psychology. He was recruited Foreign Service Officer, GL 8, in 1976. After working at Consular and Protocol Departments, He was posted to Tanzania on attachment, in 1978. He also served in many diplomatic missions over a period of 34 years, these missions included postings in Egypt; Ghana; Zimbabwe; Russia and Italy. He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in 2007 and served as Nigeria’s Principal Representative to the Republic of Angola from 2008-2010. He retired from the Federal Civil Service in 2010. He was a member of SEC 23 of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) during which he served as the Secretary-General of the Senior Executive Course (SEC 23). He was conferred with Nigeria National Honours in the category of Officer of the Order of the Niger, OON in 2008 by President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. He was appointed Director, Policy and Strategy, Office of the National Security Adviser (Sept 2010 –Sept 2015) and he was appointed member of the Presidential Committee on Small Arms and Light weapons (2013-2015).

Malcolm Tyler

After a successful career in the UK government, Malcolm became G3’s Head of Cyber in 2015. In his government career he was the first senior officer to serve at GCHQ, the UK’s technical intelligence service, and across the wider Foreign Service.
 
Malcolm brings a unique understanding of cyber security issues at policy, operational and strategic levels. He has extensive experience briefing senior executives, boards and high-ranking government ministers and officials, on the evolving global cyber threat. He is also an acknowledged expert in counter terrorism, including cyber terrorism, and has spoken at many corporate conferences and events worldwide.
 
G3, founded in 2004, is a global cyber security consultancy that delivers bespoke solutions in international markets.

Marius Stander

Marius is a retired police officer with 28 years of investigative experience. His abilities lie in organised criminal activities, cross border narcotics smuggling and commercial fraud/money laundering.

In his final two years of police service, Marius was appointed as the programme manager for Organised Crime and Clandestine Operations.

He now runs the brand protection unit of Halliday Finch Nigeria and has carried out multiple very successful enforcements in support of local law enforcement officers.

Mike Popham

Mike Popham is an accomplished international IT and process change project manager with extensive experience of making major transformation programmes happen. Mike has a proven track record in management and IT consultancy, including third party vendor assessment and selection, business development and blue sky team leadership. Currently Mike is Program Director at Technologies Platform Business Resources limited and previously held the position of Information Management Consultant at the Royal Commission in Saudi Arabia. He has also worked as an It Management Consultant for SATORP (Division of SAUDI ARAMCO) and Project Director at IGRC. Mike has a PhD in information, Security and Governance from Nixon University and an MBA from Kingston Business School.

Muyiwa Olufon

Muyiwa is an Information Security and Assurance expert with over 2 dozen certifications in the field. He has worked and consulted in the telecommunications, Consulting and Banking sectors & performed vulnerability assessments and remediation for over 40 organizations including Africa's largest banks.

He is a graduate of Networks and Information Security from the University of Worcester, UK.

He is an active member of ISACA, BCS and the Intel Advisory Council

He has various certifications in the field of system security, some of which include: McAfee SIEM,CISM, CISSP, Licensed Penetration Tester, Certified Ethical Hacker, ITIL V3 Foundation e.t.c
