As a prominent security brand across Nigeria, what factors do you think are crucial influencers for the local industry? What makes the West African region a focal point for investment?
West Africa is still a developing part of the African continent with a lot of foreign investors and security of both life, property and investments are very paramount in this part of the region and almost 70% of the population are very particular about their security, whether at home, offices, malls etc.
All this makes West Africa a very important focal point for security investment.
The global security industry is undergoing a massive digital transition with the introduction of AI, IoT and Blockchain technologies. How do you think this will impact the security and safety market?
It is safe for me to say that the introduction of AI, IOT has already started affecting the safety and security market because most of the security gadgets we have now are mainly automated either by our phones or over the internet. Also, this is just the beginning and we at Aluroll are already making most of our products AI and IOT compliant.
How is Aluroll planning to remain at the forefront of this new digital era?
At Aluroll most of our products are already IOT compliant and we will continue to make our products ready for future digital transformations.
What are your goals for Securex West Africa 2019?
One of our goals at Securex West Africa 2019 is to showcase our products and make ourselves known to the vast number of attendees from different regions in West Africa, get new clients and customers.
You can see their products and talk to members of the Aluroll team on their stand, A8 at Securex West Africa 2019 from 16 - 17 April 2019. The exhibition is completely free to attend, just pre-register online here.
