Mr. Akomolafe has over 20years post qualification experience, he is a graduate of Computer Science with Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Information Systems from the University of Manchester. He is the Chief Information Security Officer for Wema Bank, prior to that he was an Assistant Vice President in Security and Risk Consultancy with Barclays Bank, UK. He has also worked as the Global Deputy IT Security Manager for British Council, a UK government agency with officers in over 110 countries, he was also a Risk and Controls consultant with Yorkshire Building Society, the second largest building society in the United Kingdom. While at the British Council, he led IT transformation projects in Tanzania, Morocco, Tunisia, Zambia and Ghana. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Prince 2 Practitioner and Certified ISO27001 Implementer and Auditor.
