Joseph Akhanemeh heads the IT Audit and Risk Management functions for Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. He possesses deep experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Fraud Risk Management, Forensic Investigation, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Compliance, Data Analytics, IT Governance and Cyber Security.
Joseph has over 12 years experience in managing and setting up IT Audit, Risk Management and Information Systems Security Audit departments.
Prior to joining FMN, Joseph was an IT Advisory consultant with a Big 4 Accounting firm where he provided assurance services to clients in the Manufacturing and Financial Services sectors.
Joseph holds a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna. He also holds several certifications which include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), IT Infrastructure Library certification (ITIL), Certified Risk-Based Auditor (CRBA) and Certified by the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI).
